remove mod "reward points"

Hi,

i need to know how to remove this mod from my site.Please this is urgent.I’m using Sp4.

I wouldn’t remove it until the issue of security has been resolved. It seems to be there may be more involved than just removing the Rewards Points add-on, unless you want to remove it for other reasons.

I have to.My host provider confirmed that “reward points” is the only one in the NIST NVD.So they want i remove it URGENT.You know how to do it?should i just delete the folder?

I think the question has been overlooked in the other thread.



Can anyone confirm whether just deleting the folder will remove the security problem with the Reward Points add-on.

I still do not know what the issue is with it. Can someone please PM me to let me know what is wrong with it? If someone knows something is wrong with it they should also contact CS support and let them know too.

Any of the Addons which you are not actually using should be disabled and removed as each one does require a certain amount of resources on your site.



So, it is an easy solution “unless” you are actually using reward points.

there’s no issue with reward points regarding sp4.there’s one for cs 2x.my host didn’t know the version i was using…sorted

I’m confused.

According to this thread, there IS a security vulnerability in 1.3.5 SP4:

I think perhaps confusion is reigning over the differences between the BUGS in Reward Points in ver 2.x and the SECURITY problem with 1.3.5 SP4.



Personally, Reward Points aren’t working correctly in 1.3.5 SP4 anyway, I thought I had a fix, but it created other errors in inventory counts so I have no choice but to disable it anyway - very disappointing solution.

I’m equally disappointed that there are still bugs in this addon in ver 2.x

You should contact CS Team regarding this issue.I personally,REMOVED the mod,files and DB
