javascript in categories menu vs seo

hi,

i notice that the menu for the categories on the left uses java.i would like to know what this represents for spiders.

Hello gabrieluk,

The Google robot, (Google bot) follows more easily links that haven’t any Java.

Choose the left menu accordingly your needs

hi,

so you mean that the homepage is NOT SENDING any links to those cat in the menu???

Hello gabrieluk,

You know, Java and Google crawling is a long story (legend?).

Do what you need or want. With CS-Cart, you have choice to have some Java in your menu, or not to have Java at all.

Choose right solution for you.

Here is only one question similar to yours:

Maybe situation changed. Or not…

However, if in doubt, or for more security, you you can have a multi level flyout menu without NO javascript. I recommend you to go to see some examples of Stu Nicholls, the World Master of CSS:

For example, one of his last multi level flyout menu without NO Javascript:
