Customer login, STOP using username

This is a mistake in design.



Username vs Email for customer logins.



No where on any large ecommerce site do they use “username”, ebay.com, newegg.com, buy.com, overstock.com, ETC ETC



they all use EMAIL as the login name.



This was a huge problem over on X, so much that someone created a mod for it.



Its not good design and should be fixed.

Password:



Remember Me:

I think email should be used as the log-in also but if folks prefer the username also maybe we can have a checkbox in the admin panel to enable/disable email as a login option?

I agree, email is the way forward to stop multimple account / profile creations.
