Can't leave message when Live Help offline Rate Topic   - - - - -

I have "Allow to leave a message" checked in the Live Help options, but clicking on the "Live Help offline" icon does nothing.

I have the same problem...
Windows 2008 / IIS 7.0 / PHP 5.2.11 / CS-Cart 2.0.10

I asked this question as well on the QA board.

In the code there is a commented out directive for the leave message mode - if uncommented it does produce a feedback form, but the destination is a 404.

I considered changing it in the short-term to the contact form - but then realized this would inconveniently take a person out of the shopping flow - ideally it would generate a modal pop-up and load the message form in that manner. I am presently looking at how this might be done in general (rather than force a customer to go to an entirely separate section of the site to ask a question).

So yes, the behavior you mention (clicking and going nowhere) is in the code as such. The functionality is incomplete - it's not due to error.
