2.0.8 to 2.0.9 Failure

I just tried to update my 2.0.8 to 2.0.9 and I lost all my home page except for the header and top menu and a couple of blocks so I quickly did a revert and it was back to the way it was.

The strange thing is that it had said that the categories file and some others had been modified but they haven’t been - the only change I made was in the css file to center the footer which the upgrade did pick up.

Luckily I am still creating this shop which will eventually when done replace my live 1.3.5 SP4 site.

Anyone else have the same problem and resolved it?

I had the same error, I didn’t have time to look at the problem very thoroughly as I am also creating a new site to replace an old oscommerce site, so haven’t really got time for testing.

same problem. No catagory blocks and others… all products are gone…

Me too. I don’t known what happen. Cs-cart support please answer

Can not change tween of two languages :frowning:

Bug logs for cs-cart team

I thought I’d wait until CS Cart had official announced the upgrade, then tried again and everything seems to be fine. Patience!!!

my products and categories and blocks are missing ?

any solutions ?

I’m right there with the rest of you. For some reason most of my blocks are missing.

Luckily I did my upgrade on my localhost so it has no effect on my live site.

Brandon

Me too, no Cat., no Products, some blocks are missing

i notice if you still have a link to a product you can try going to the link

and you get a not an array message …

maybe this will help someone figure out whats going on …

can someone please post a fix ?

not very good experiences, new version new bugs

I tried upgrading and for whatever reason the product descriptions no longer appear…any ideas?

Hi, I have same problems as yours.

One thing that I found to be working is:

  1. disable with the bulk function all products and categories
  2. activate it again

After this step, the categories and products are again there.

But I get this error on the site:

Warning: array_merge() [function.array-merge]: Argument #2 is not an array in /home/blabla/public_html/shop/core/fn.catalog.php on line 3072

Any fixies?

Bye

Hi, I noticed that all erros are parsed in the

/core/fn.catalog.php

Bye

I found the same thing also … but i have 31000 products and 1500 cats … would take forever to manually enable and disable even with the bulk tool …

it seems to be a problem with the usergroups permissions that they added …

running a update on the database and changing :

UPDATE cscart_categories SET usergroup_ids = ‘’ WHERE usergroup_ids = ‘0’;

UPDATE cscart_products SET usergroup_ids = ‘’ WHERE usergroup_ids = ‘0’;

this brings back all the cats and products

with the same errors … i believe they missed including something in the update …

have you found a workaround for the array errors ?

i notice if you edit a product or cat and check any of the groups to allow like

ALL , guest , registered .

if any of these are checked that product or cat stops working again …

something is hosed …lol

This is such. BULL SH**… Everytime we try to upgrade there is some issue.

We upgraded and the store came up but with no Categories at all. All my Categories where there in the admin side and listed visible.

Could not get them to show up. So we reverted back to 2.08. BIG MISTAKE. Now getting all kinds of errors.

Last time this happen it took me 2 full days to manually recover.

Now my store is down.

Cant get to the store or admin.

When trying to goto the admin we now get

www.cutritefx.com/admin

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/content/c/u/t/cutritefx/html/core/fn.init.php on line 184

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/content/c/u/t/cutritefx/html/core/fn.init.php:184) in /home/content/c/u/t/cutritefx/html/core/fn.init.php on line 396

Fatal error: Call to undefined function fn_get_usergroups() in /home/content/c/u/t/cutritefx/html/controllers/admin/index.php on line 60

If a click a product on, I get still for every product this error:

Warning: array_merge() [function.array-merge]: Argument #2 is not an array in /home/xxxxxxx/public_html/shop/core/fn.catalog.php on line 39

Warning: array_merge() [function.array-merge]: Argument #2 is not an array in /home/xxxxxxx/public_html/shop/core/fn.catalog.php on line 106

Warning: array_merge() [function.array-merge]: Argument #2 is not an array in /home/xxxxxxx/public_html/shop/core/fn.catalog.php on line 3072

As next if I go checkout, it says:

There are no available payment methods, so you cannot proceed to checkout. But I have payment methods enabled.
