Ok, upgrade scripts were rewritten to avoid such problems in future. Thank you.

How many installations have you tested this on?

Success.....

I contacted support yesterday about the problem, and they emailed me today that the problem was corrected. It was related to MYSQL 5.1.

I tried the upgrade on my local server and it worked.

I tried it on my live site and it worked. It also solved my problem of having a file tab showing up on all of my product details pages.

Glad to have my site back up and working.

Hope everyone is able to do the upgrade successfully.

I don't understand why these many subversions.
Only confuses the customers and there is not a stable version...
Rather more rarely but tested and fixed versions with less mistakes.

I am in the process of upgrading from 1.3.5.SP4 to 2.0.7.

I have downloaded the 2.0.7 installation package and the upgrade package.

Following the instructions in the upgrade package, I get to Step 6 without any problems. When executing Step 7, I get the following error:

................................
Status: Done

Database error: Table 'shwl207.cscart_settings' doesn't exist (1146)
Invalid query: SELECT value FROM cscart_settings WHERE option_name='images_location'

I've checked the database via phpmyadmin and noticed that not all the tables had installed, one of which was the cscart.settings table.

My hosting is with GoDaddy, linux server, in a seperate directory; have a fresh database (mysql 5.0), and have done a fresh install first.

I have the following systems:

mysql v5.0
php v5.2.5

I'm not sure what to do at this point. Doesn't anyone know what the remedy is?
