I’ve recently noticed that - and ONLY IN IE8 - when products are listed (one column only) in any root category, that all the product titles, codes, prices etc have moved under the image thumbnail and over to the left of the column - leaving a heck of a lot of white space.

I’ve tried systematically “restoring from the repository”, the template files: products_advanced.tpl and a couple others but to no joy.
Images can be found below of the “old” product listing (what I would like to restore back to) and the “new” product listing that needs correcting.
Any feedback would be much appreciated.
Found a dead easy solution to this problem. Although it does appear to be a quickfix I’m unsure if it might possibly cause a few complications elsewhere.
