We are looking for a developer that could create some modules for CS-Cart.
Such as:
there have been several of us in the process of convincing CS of these features to be built-into CS because the reward points system is something that needs to be part of a “Specials” mod…buy 1 get 1 free, buy 2 get 3rd free type of mod…we’re working on it…
Cs Cart quoted me US$350 to code a Rewards Points Module as part of the Special Offers area. We are using RP already in Xcart and if we were to move to cscart our customers would expect to have their points transferred.
Would anyone is interested in chipping in to pay cs cart to code Reward Points? If so let me know and Perhaps we can go ahead …

CS-Cart is currently in the progress of making the Reward Points for us as custom work.

I really don’t need this mod however I’m still interested in having reward points…who else will pitch in to split the costs for glonet? I can pitch in some cash, even better maybe some custom addons for everyone, who’s in?

Personally I would have no use for the points system unless it included something along those lines, I suppose it could be adapted >?? not sure.
If im wrong and it does include a “specials” mod then by all means count me in !!!

yea this will be available in a future version, however it appears we’ll have to pay for the reward point which I’m disappointed in because I beleive it should be provided free as part of the specials addon…

Bob, sorry,Special Offers is an xcart term - I could see the reward Points operating in Cscart under Admin/Catalog/ Discounts and Coupons as another tab.
Sorry for the delay replying - I rarely pop in here but we are ready to redevelop our cart and are investigating our options…
I’d chip in towards the costs. If we did it this way is it likely to be released with the next version?

We really need the Special Offers. This was an area that X-Cart got more or less right. Loyalty rewards really helps with customer retention and would also be a huge plus for CS-Cart.

I sure hope these are more than rumor. I would use alll the items mentioned. To the developers’ credit, they have made HUGE strides this year with the cart and seem committed to make sure that CS-Cart is the cart of choice for the forseeable future.
