Hi Darius,
No, you’re not missing anything. I’ve only just changed the logo, the original had a photo over to the right. I removed some of the top navigation as it was duplicating other items on the page ie account etc.
If you have any suggestions I’m happy to hear them.

Well you could use some picture background related to product u sell in orange space, or use it for ads.
Shopping Cart status can be moved to top right from sidebox. This is number one spot where customers look for cart things…
