www.mysite.com or www.mysite/store?
What are the pros and cons?
Currently I am at www.mysite/store but thinking seriously of a change.
First you just see on google how many links they have indexed on search engine. For this just type site://www.yoursite.com or without www
If they have not indexed 100+ links than you can change your directory, but you have to change so many thinks like uploading folders to other directory, editing config files etc. I seriously tell you don’t waste your time just stick with your current position.
If u got domain why use subdomain?

Miracles,
I am not clear what you mean by changing directories?
Basically I think that all I have to do is move one folder and change one config file. Then make a redirect from my control panel.
Perhaps 30 minutes work in total?
Darius,
If you are asking why did I use /store up till now it is because I had more flexibility with Dreamweaver and was planning to keep my reliance on shopping carts to a minimum.

Nobody would be willing to advertise on a subdomain only on root. Not sure if I understand how this is better for Dreamweaver…

Darius,
I do not do use ads buy or sell we only use word of mouth for sales.
Dreamweaver makes it very easy to design web pages that is what I meant
http://www.domain.com
using
www.domain.com/store = feeling of pressured to purchase something
www.domain.com = everyday website
shop.domain.com = ok, but why make shopping another "click affair?

I was thinking at first that I would do a lot of nice web pages with content using Dreamweaver on my root mysite.com
I have two small kids and never found the time and my mysite.com page is old and out of date.
So now I think that mysite.com is a good place to put my CS cart store as it is easier for people to remember.
If time allows I would still like to design all my pages using Dreamweaver and have an “add to cart” link to CS Cart which would quietly work in the background.
