comments welcome, especially how i can go about changing the menu to a different kind to take up some space in the top upper right corner of site. I want to change to a tabbed menu but haven’t got a handle on how to do it. is it as easy as cutting the code out of another template and using it?

yeah well i did it as part of testing and told client to change it when they got a real testimonial.
Im actually all about integrity, which is why I DID use my own name to keep it honest, instead of easily using a fake name. It was my honest opinion. But I did tell client to change it. It’s their store. I’m going to ask again, thanks. 
The site looks pretty good. I’m not sure about the category names; your customers may not immediately understand what ‘finger decor’ or ‘ear treats’ mean. And it’s also not good for SEO if you ever want to rank for certain terms.

I told client exactly that and …well my opinion was overidden due to customer preference. I will re-mention it again though, thanks.

You might want to consider reducing the page width just a few pixels so the horizontal scroll bar isn’t being displayed when viewed in a 1024 x 768 screen resolution. No need to loose valuable real estate, ya know.
