Hi all,
have not really got much feedback since i developed this site.
Started with the impossible hostgator and am now with CyberLNC (best Service EVER)
the site is :
www.cnettechnology.com.au
I have tried quite hard to make it not look as standard as i can (still learning the cscart template style)
ANY comments and feedback is apreciated
Not being harsh, just constructive critisim from someone who may purchase PC parts online (I don’t, but wouldn’t mind a few 22" LCDs ;))
Get rid of the red bar that holds the asus graphics cards / parts pricelist etc.
Rest of the site looks professional apart from that item.
Get rid of the google ads as it goes straight to cnet’s competitors
Add more gradient to this image
```http://www.cnettechnology.com.au/skins/Cnet_tech_new/customer/images/tommenbg.jpg[/code[
Looks as though it hasn’t finished loading
Add more differences between gradient between the Home / Catalog(UE) buttons so people can see which is highlighted.
Parts pricelist should be noted as a PDF, ****ped me off after getting a popup, then having to wait 2 minutes for it to load
Home → Catalog needs to be moved down a bit, its almost part of the red from just above it, gives no meaning other then making the page look busy
Categories are out of place:
yeah the menu is the main bug i have, when the window is reized it breaks out of its position??
I think its called the peekaboo bug!
The google ads are temporary and i am always working on some tweaks, automatic rotating banners ect and still have to optimize to the max.
but for a new site am getting some serious traffic.
Includes a quite large price list,
This is the fixed width method i used and it seems to have sorted that problem, http://forum.cs-cart.com/showthread.php?t=4298&highlight=fixed+width
