why 1 in url?

Hello All,



I am using 2.0.8 and set up my seo friendly url’s. The page slug of my contact us page is contact_us but the cs-cart is generating contact_us_1.html. Why this ‘1’ is in URL? Can’t I remove it?

Sorry, I didnt get you. I think you mean to say that I already have a page with contact-us slug, but thats not the fact. I do not have any other page.



Also, even if I create a new page, with a fresh slug, like my-new-page, cs-cart adds -1 at the end.

It wouldn’t recreate the same slug unless there was a duplicate, check cscart_seo_names for the same slug.

It may have been used by the ‘about our company’ page as well
