Where did my home page banner and featured items go ?

I was tinkering with shipping and took my test customer out for a spin and…

yoiks… the sliding banner and featured items disappeared.

All I can see it the top links and footer links.

Same story if I view in design mode.

Thank you for your message.



I suppose that you created a localization in your CS-Cart admin panel and enabled it. If so, the problem occurs because products, categories, pages, etc. are not assigned to the localization created. After creating a localization, it is required to select it in the Localization section on editing pages of the desired products, categories, shipping methods, locations, payment methods, pages and news in your CS-Cart administration panel to display them for customers from the address selected for the localization.



You can also check the instructions in the Setting up a localization article of our Knowledge base:

Alternatively, you can just disable this localization if your do not need it.



Please check it.

I just disabled Australia ( the only country left after I had deleted the others ).

That did the trick.
