I've search for the thread but I can't find sorry.
A few months ago one of the cs-cart staff posted an idea for an addon - allowing people to sell items via the standard version. This was for people who didn't want to open their own store but had a few things to sell.
The was a lot of interest and a lot of discussion on how best to do this and I would have assumed the addon would have been released by now.
