I was wondering What order status to use for refunded orders RMA?

You can create a new order status, Refunded, for example and use it for orders that were refunded.

We sell only digital products I was thinking if would be good to rename Backordered to Refunded

We always have on stock products as are digital.

What do you think?

Otherwise we will have lots of statuses that we don t use Backordered, Awwaiting call etc

Backordered—the order hasn't been processed yet, as it contains out-of-stock items.

Backordered—the order hasn't been processed yet, as it contains out-of-stock items.

It is better not to change the default statuses, since some of them (including Backordered) have predefined scenarios that could assign such a status to an order automatically. It can lead to some uncomfortable situations, so it is better to create a new one status.
