I love the functionality of this site and need to know what ecommerce platform they’re using:
http://www.blankapparel.com
Specifically, the features I like are:
-multi-storefront (cross-site login, per-site categories)
-multi-vendor support
-bulk product ordering (pick color, enter size(s), click add to cart)
-fast order form
-abandoned cart for registered user triggers email followup
thanks,
Glen
I can tell you its a ASP cart (on Windows Platform) and not a PHP cart. Not sure which one though.
Right - .asp in the page URLs. The specific page names (“cart.asp”, “contact.asp”, “fastord.asp”) are clues, but I can’t find an ASP ecommerce package that matches those.
Glen
I think its Magento
Magento is ASP?
Before we chose CSC, we looked at 2 .NET stores: aspdotnetstorefront and ablecommerce. They are pretty big players in the ASP world, could be this site uses one or the other.

Magento not asp!
I think it is a Microsoft product!
Live Chat person claims their site was developed in-house, but I have a hard time believing that such a small company could develop something like that from scratch.
Appears as if it might be a ProductCart site
In my experience, the ASP carts like this one are more powerful and feature rich, but are also at a different price point than cs-cart. Generally the ASP carts start at over $600 and with addons quickly go over $1,000. Also, Windows Server Hosting is generally more expensive than Linux servers.
I agree with everything you say except for
the ASP carts like this one are more powerful and feature rich
Nevertheless, there certainly are some fine .asp as well as .asp.net carts out there which makes for good competition!
There is a Firefox extension (Wappalyzer) that attempts to identify the software a site uses - but no joy on this particular store.

Magento is php…
PHP as in “Pretty Hefty Price” …
This is, without a doubt, a ProductCart website with the apparel add-on.
3Dcart is also a very good cart in ASP
Hello Chef Joe,
This is, without a doubt, a ProductCart website with the apparel add-on.
Are you sure?
Because ProductCart cart view URL is:
/viewcart.asp?cs=1
While this website (blankapparel.com) cart view URL is:
/cart.asp?uid=WDWS8MKWROQIRVP540483.0386689815
Quite different.
More, if you go to their other division webiste:
http://www.blankcaps.com/
You can see an “AS” favicon:
http://www.blankcaps.com/favicon.ico
Is someone knows an “AS” shopping cart?
