Weight Formula

Hi,

I'm not sure how to do the following:

I need to set the shipping cost to be as the following (almost a formula).

For more than 10 KGs, the charge should be $10 per 0.5 KGs.

Please advise on where and how can I do that?

Thanks

Go to Shipping Methods and use the Weight dependency under Shipping charges.

Thank you. But that allows me to set a weight range and cost, while I need to know how to add the formula above!

Something like: when weight is over 10KGs, charge $10 per 0.5 KG.

Right.

0 → $10

10 → $20

10.5 → $30

11 → $40

etc…

Right.

0 → $10

10 → $20

10.5 → $30

11 → $40

etc…

Hello again,

when you say 10 → $20. Does that mean charge $20 per KG for any shipment that is 10+ KGs of weight? or charge $20 for any shipment that is 10+ KGs of weight??

Please let me know coz that would make a big difference.

Thanks

Hello,

I appreciate your help, but I still didn't get the right answer.

Maybe what I want to implement is not possible with CS-Cart???

Here is what I need to do again:

More than 0 KG, charge $10

More than 5 KG, charge $20

More than 10 KG. charge $5 per 1/2 KG.

That means if the weight is 11 KG, then the charge should be 11 * 2 * $5 = $110

If weight is 50 KG, then the charge should be 50 * 2 * $5 = $500

and so on…

There is no formula you can use within the cart. You will have to use your formula to calculate the cost and set up each and every one of the shipping charges.
