My site is a motorcycle web page.
what my boss is wanting me to do is somehow change the product code for the page but not that actuall code.
we want to be able to have our customer look up there bike and say that the bike is a jackel motorcycle. and the product code is 14153000 oil filter
we want the product on that particular page to show ja14153000 but when they add the product to the shopping cart, it will pull the product code 14153000.
This filter works for many types of bikes and in each motorcycle category we just want it to show to letter in front of each part number for that bike so that the customers will know what item it is and for what bike.
is this making since at all and does anyone know how to do this?
