Is there any way that i could display the Vendor name on the product category page…? (Below/Top the product title perhaps). I'm tried digging from the database, but couldn't see it anywhere.

You can try to do it via Features. Create a Vendor feature, specify all Vendor names and apply the necessary Vendor name in the Features tab to every product. But! It's not a very usable option because features are only shown in the tab on a product details page. Unfortunately, there is no standard solution that can do exactly what you require.
