I wonder if someone has tried to extend the cms capability in cs-cart to the extend that you can have very powerful ecommerce application with the cms that is capable of acting as a portal.

If it is allowed; I could post an example of a shopping cart that has been extended to be a news portal. The basis of that shopping cart is cfml (coldfusion) and the cart in question is cfwebstore.
