URL Rewrite Not Working on ALL Links - Using SSL and SEO Mod

Hello,

This is my first time using cs-cart.

Right now I have the website using an SSL with the SEO mod turned ON, but for some reason certain links will not rewrite.

Here is the message below the hosting company told me

“some of the URLs on your store will not overwrite correctly such as the catalog and my account tabs. In order to have the patched you may need to contact the authors of the application. As this is controlled from the script core coding functions the issue is considered as development related. All the other URLs seems to be overwriting right now.”

So I am not sure what to do. I am not savy when it comes to code, so I would have no clue how to fix this.

I am currently using the latest community version, 2.1.4

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Hello Billlee,

I advise you to use the “SEO rules” ability in this case. The link to this page is in the “Content” tab in the store administration panel.

Thank you.

Thank you for the quick reply, I appreciate it!

Unfortunately that still did not work.

Here is the information I entered on the options

For dispatch Value I used:

https://example.com/index.php?dispatch=categories

For SEO Name:

catalog

This however does nothing at all. So I am not sure if I am doing something wrong here.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you.

Hello Billlee,

There is no any page in a standard CS-Cart installation when opening this link: http://demo.cs-cart.com/professional/index.php?dispatch=categories . That is why your SEO rule does not work. If you want to specify a SEO-name for the http://example.com/index.php?dispatch=categories.catalog URL, you need to enter the “categories.catalog” value into the “The value of the “dispatch” parameter from the URL” field and specify the “catalog” value in the “SEO name” field.

Thank you.
