I’ve just set my cart live and for some reason some of the payments through eway are coming back declined.
I’m using V 2.0.12 and can’t upgrade at the moment.
Do you know if there’s a quick fix for this?
Why are they coming back? Is there a mismatch somewhere?
I probably didn’t explain the fault correctly - some payments are being declined that should be accepted. My husband tested this out today where his orders were showing as “failed” after he tried to purchase using his credit card (eway gateway) and they shouldn’t have been. He defnitely entered the correct details and his card is fine to use, so there’s a bug there somewhere.
I have a large promotion starting tomorrow night, so was hoping to have this issue fixed by then if possible.
I just wanted to see if anyone else was experiencing the same trouble with eway payments.

The site has only just gone live a couple of days ago - I’d rather not upgrade right now, it’ll cost too much $$$.
If it’s a known bug, then hopefully cs-cart can build a patch or sort it out somehow.
It’s a pretty big bug though - makes eway completely useless. Making sure that cs-cart was able to work with eway was a big selling point for me in deciding to go ahead with the platform.
Fingers crossed they’ll work it out.

Experience tells me that it’s not their problem, reason they released a service pack.
I would suggest that you at least review the eway.php file for diffs and experiment with it.
Thanks for the info Jesse, I’ll have a play around.
I wish I was more technically minded so I could manage my own upgrades It would definitely make my life alot easier

It’s not all that expensive than most people think, half the work is the server environment and mods
try updating just the payment gateway file itself and see if that helps.
