Suggest you restore per the link that was sent to you via email. Or execute:

http://[your domain]/var/upgrade/restore.php

You can restore your site immediately after you discover a problem.

There are at least 2 methods of restoring as tbirnseth mentioned.

I am currently upgrading.

4.3.3

Installed patch.

My server config passed the time out test.

( was there something unwritten that I was supposed to do ?? )

Now waiting forever for upgrade to 4.3.4 to finish.

Seems to be stuck on: Backing up data for: cscart views
My site is not huge but maybe the Images ( 3.5 gig )
are slowing things.

It's been 50 minutes now.

1 hour and 10 minutes is the longest upgrade time in all my years

so I closed the admin window.

This is a joke.

btw Wasn't there supposed to be a follow up advice in this

thread that this problem had been fixed ????

I have started the upgrade again and within seconds it went to

Backing up data for: cscart views and I don't doubt that it will 'still' be

sitting there like a lump when I get back from shopping.

Could the following be the culprits ?
I have messaged the host to get them changed if possible.
Current is what I see via Admin > Logs > php information.
memory_limit - 256Mb;
Current 256M ( Local value ) 128M ( Master value )
post_max_size - 32Mb;
Current 8M ( Local value ) 8M ( Master value )
default_socket_timeout - 300sec;
Current 60 ( Local value ) 60 ( Master value )
max_execution_time - 600sec.
Current 3600 ( Local value ) 30 ( Master value )

My host was able to up the limits but

couldn't do default_socket_timeout - 300sec

without some special procedure ( my current 60 ( Local value ) 60 ( Master value )
Tried the upgrade 4.3.3 SP1 > 4.3.4 but it looks bogged down again at:

Backing up data for: cscart_views

Oh well.

What do update logs show ?

No update logs but not sure where to look for them.

Web host made changes but advised the following

couldn't be easily achieved on a shared server..

default_socket_timeout - 300sec;
My Current 60 ( Local value ) 60 ( Master value )
Maybe something happened after 4.3.3 SP1
Most likely that my cart was screwed up after a R1Soft
cpanel back up restoration ( cart and all after I deleted
a category and 60 products by accident ).

No update logs but not sure where to look for them.

/var/upgrade/core_log.txt

Doesn't matter now. I have wiped it off my server.

Ongoing problems are the reason I only recommend CS-Cart to people who

have development money or a bunch of coding smarts.
