Upgrade Problem - Smartoptimizer Error: File Is Out Of Base Directory

Hi, I have installed (domain-name.com/cscart412) a brand new cscart 4.1.2 and imported from my current working (domain-name/shop) cscart 3.0.6



This (domain-name.com/cscart412) works perfect and decided to change the urls back to working url ( domain-name.com/shop )



When I changed it it comes with an error 'SmartOptimizer Error: File is out of base directory.'



I have cleared all the cache (misc, registry and templates) but the same error again and again.



When change the url back to(domain-name.com/cscart412) that works fine.



Is this the problem with my server? Please advice.

This sounds like the same error I received when I tried to use Smartoptimizer. I ended up giving up on it and do not have it installed right now. Maybe some others will be able to elaborate on whether they we should (or can) use Smartoptimizer or not.
