Upgrade And Store Import From 3.0.6 To 4.3.2

Hi,I am very unhappy that cs cart does not offer any other solution for upgrade than by store import.I tried many times import from v3 to v4,but import always stops before it is completed.I asked my host to increase all limits what are possible,but nothing helps.I paid at least 2 times cs.cart team fee for upgrade,but it was useles,because than I was not able to actualize data and synchronize changes of orders,prodcusts,etc changed between the time.Is there anybody who can advice,how else to arrange upgrade from v3 to v4 ? Thanks advance for any help or advice.I would be willing to pay for it rather than fighting with it myself.DK

Hi, I don't think it was "useless", but the fact is, that durring the upgrade you have to CLOSE the store to avoid writting to the database.

...and of course any other things, like adding or editing of products etc.

My import failed due to many images, I suggest you to do this

live store import is done from

/images rename to /images2 then create empty /images directory

now run import.

If success simply move images2 content to /new_import_shop/images

Why does actuallization does not work not sure, I think I had similar problem so I simply used import export to update new store orders and customers

Big thanks to Darius,when excluding images import ended succesfuly,I would never think of that ! Thanks a lot ! David
