I’m having a bit of a strange problem this morning. I disabled the SEO add-on (apparently stupidly). I intended it to be only a momentary thing so I could copy/paste the dispatch values for our vendors for a custom menu. Since I’m new to cs-cart I like to double check myself and http://docs.cs-cart.com/ doesn’t seem to really include Multi-Vendor.
However now I cannot reactivate SEO. It’s displaying this error when I try :
WarningSEO-friendly URLs are disabled. Check your web server and URL manipulation engine settings.
I’ve tried everything I can think of including reading through CS-Cart Documentation — CS-Cart 4.16.x documentation
I cannot find mod_rewrite listed at all. This makes no sense to me since seo was working great a few minutes ago. I’m checking with our server guy, but the sudden issue has me confused. Am I missing something obvious??
OK, found a solution here : Warning SEO-friendly URLs are disabled. - SEO - CS-Cart and Multi-Vendor Community Forums | Connect with the Community | Find Solutions
Good grief! Sounds like some kind of issue with the add-on since several people have had this problem.
Yay for forum help!
