Hello



I’ve just started to look at the possibility of switching from a US hosting company to one based specifically in the UK.



I’m most probably looking at VPS hosting as I can’t stretch my budget to Dedicated hosting just yet. Can anyone recommend a good UK host that offers this?



Oh, and I’m definitely not looking for hosting anywhere else in the world, only the UK.

The good thing about eukhost is that the VPS they offer is managed, where Tagadab isn’t. If you’re strong with Linux, Tagadab is ok for you. If not, the choice is clear. Good luck.

You need to advertise your UK hosting as soon as possible…



There are sooooo many people using CS Cart who will benefit no end from CyberLNC hosting based in the UK.

I use eUK for my CS Cart hosting. I’m using their new Cloud VPS and would really recommend them.



You can contact support via LiveChat 24/7 and I’ve always found the support to be very good.



I’ve only ever had shared hosting before and was worried about the change to VPS. eUK offer a managed service and they have been excellent with me.



Give them a try, if your not happy you can always get a refund :smiley:

you must be a trend setter because you were not the only one around here that switched over to the uk side of the house this week. :wink:



with regard to your question about advertising, we hope to have that posted very shortly as a new site layout and a forum community both are currently under construction and coming very soon.

Just as an update, as pointed out in the previous post, I decided to stay with my current server host.



I am now hosted in the UK, on VPS Cloud, by CyberLNC and I’m very happy with the way they handled the move from my current server and with their customer service throughout.



Having not initially known they were offering hosting in the UK, I am very happy they do as I was very reluctant to move to another hosting company.



If you are in the UK and are using CS Cart, I would have no hesitation in recommending CyberLNC as a UK based server host.
