I’m trying to learn how to configure cs-cart with the objective of switching from creloaded cart. As I already have a shop set-up most of the configuration is decided and I need to just replicate that. I’m a bit surprised cs-cart don’t have fully configure shipping options and it’s all very time consuming building in all the option you might want isn’t it ?
Just wondering if any UK shop owners have it already setup using Royal Mail options and if it’s possible to export those setting for me to import them.
I’ve imported my product and they all have a weight. I ship based on weight and delivery location worldwide. While learning I’ve configured cs-cart to show shipping to the UK using the weight but I don’t fully understand how it’s working.
Just wondering if any with a UK shop might offer to hold my hand on this one? I use Royal Mail for most things, unless over 12kg which I use a cheaper option. Any assistance would be very much appreciated.

Hi
I am uk based.
Shipping isn’t as difficult as you might think.
Create location Uk Mainland (or what ever you want)
For Royal Mail create shipping option Royal Mail and then go in to and in shipping charges select "UK Mainland) enter shipping costs and weight!

Hi Barry,
Thanks for helping here, what I don’t understand is if say I create a royal first class do I add one shipping cost and let the system work out the correct postage on weight or combined order. Or do I have make many shipping costs as per royal mails table of costs for first class mail. 0-100g = 36p, 100-200g = 56 etc etc
Or do I create a stepped list of say ten intervals and then do anothe ten for second class ect ?
Thanks Barry, I think I’ve got it now
Did reply earlier but it seems not all messages are getting on here for some reason.
