Many people have mentioned the following problem when trying to upgrade from 2.07 I get the following error
Warning: copy(/home/xxxxxx/public_html/install/index.php) [function.copy]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home1/qualiuf7/public_html/store/var/upgrade/upgrade_2.0.7-2.0.8.tgz/uc_override.php on line 624
Please could somebody tell me what the permissions need to be I’ve tried CHOMD 777
But it throws up the same error.

I’m not sure there is a fix for this, I’ve received the same error and changed permissions all over the place with no luck, I had to resort to a manual upgrade which was not fun but worked…
I didn’t even think about doing that to be honest.
I will possibly give a few days then try it. Hopefully it shouldn’t been too difficult!
