Trouble With Local Install On Xampp (Mac)

I’ve successfully installed XAMPP and MySQL and on my system and everything is running smoothly.



I’ve installed a clean version of MV 4.2.4 on my local system and it runs perfectly (both storefront and admin).



PROBLEM: After copying the new config.local.php and adding ALL of my entire public_html folder to my local directory, I get this error (see attachment).



I have triple checked that both var and cache folders have full access the read and write.



Any help/advice will be greatly appreciated.

possibly var and cache folders have “wrong” owner and group so cs-cart scripts do not have permissions to write cache in these directories
