Trouble Adding Features To Categories On New Storefront

Hi,

This makes no sense - feature is shared to the new storefront then adding to categories I get:

"WarningCouldn't assign feature to categories or a feature group. Some variations use this feature and aren't in the categories you tried to assign. Please delete these products, or disband their variation groups, or assign them to the same categories as feature or feature group, and try again."

So am supposed to delete the feature from 250 products that use it for no apparent reason then re apply it? (a feature that uses variations)

I've going trough this by adding features to a group features that is available for all categories. Then the features turn automatically available on all category again.

Maybe it could help.

Is this some sort of bug then do you think?

I have been facing the same issue. Has this been reported as a bug? Did anyone find a solution?

To be more precise:

I have a feature group called "Children apparel". This is included in 4 categories. When I try to add a 5th category to this feature group, I get the same message as above (Warning Couldn't assign feature to categories or a feature group. Some variations use this feature and aren't in the categories you tried to assign. Please delete these products, or disband their variation groups, or assign them to the same categories as feature or feature group, and try again.)

This does not seem to make any sense. By the way, the link "these products" does not do anything.

Any help here would be appreciated.
