I hope someone can help with this. We already have are website up and our store front is an e-commercetemplate.com. We want to redesign our cart to match the rest of our site and would like to try cs-cart but we don’t want to take down our original site to try the software out. We need our main site up for our business. Is it possible to try the software out without interupting our current website? This is our site www.thepurringparrot.com. Our cart is the Store button. We are just learning code, etc
Download cs cart and install on your local machine with a local serevr something like xampp,[url]http://www.apachefriends.org/en/xampp.htmlhttp://www.apachefriends.org/en/xampp.html[/url]
you can set up your local server and just try it off line and develop offline, and then when you feel its time to comit then you can put it all on your webspace.
