Translation, Categories and products UPGRADES for new versions

Hello people,



I am so curious about these last upgrades.



Like everybody know, we do not have translation to every language in Cs-cart.

A very good ecommerce system but… for me in Brazil, every time I need to adjust my database to the news version.

Maybe I don’t need. Maybe there is another way.


  1. TRANSLATION to brazilian portuguese:

    I would like to know WHERE I can know if from one version to the other something about LANGUAGE translation has changed.

    For example: I have started to translate the version 2.05. Now we are in version 2.0.11.

    Will my translation work in this new version?



    If yes… how to EXPORT AND IMPORT?

    Is there any way to do it inside the admin panel or just in mysql admin?




  2. CATEGORIES and PRODUCTS tables:

    When we download a NEW VERSION we can see that the NUMBER of tables are not the same.

    So, where can I find information about HOW TO MIGRATE data from one version to on earlier version?





    This can happen with CLIENTS, too and skins, maybe.



    Where can we know that some data from database can not be used in a new version?

Yes, there is a way in Administration tab.



But the doubt persist: how to know if all data is the same?

When you import, will new version understand the translation will be the same for each field.
