i have problem with uploading a particular image. i've tried renaming the file, resizing, creating the product again, in different categories etc but no matter what i do, the size of the thumbnail always resizes itself from the original 214 x 450 px to 500 x 1051.

[/quote]I had similar problem on an older version, I am not sure with current version. I had to re name it to one I have not used and also don't forget to cc.

Have you checked all settings in Thumnails ?
