I'm currently trying to improve the theme that we're using, it's the Urban shift theme, we also did many customizations on it. The idea is to add some animated blocks to display our products in a more interactive way.
I would like an opinion here on the best possible way to implement something like this ?
The tpl files structure is a bit annoying for me and I prefer to work directly on an HTML template with a CSS framework like bootstrap or tailwind CSS.
Now, we know that Cs-cart is using Smarty as a web engine, so I’m wondering if it's possible to start a migration to use only PHP since it has an integrated web engine or move to a JavaScript front end framework like react for example.
I would appreciate some expert guidance here.
