The Admin Shows A Very Limited Permission For All Our Employees?

Hello,

I have egyptlaptop.com

and for 2 days ago, I can't (indeed, all our employees too) access the admin with my full permission,

just a very limited abilities or permissions (add user & add product) only is there.

notes:

- the access are correct .

- I'm the admin and I only one have ability to create accounts with its permissions .

Sounds like you may have installed a 3rd party addon that may have messed up the permissions. Suggest you disable all addons and ensure that your primary admin is NOT in any administrator groups.

Sometime simple cache clearing helps

But it is an issue of permissions. Check all 3rd-party add-ons

I already check all my add-ons and delete some of them, but nothing still.

I login still with very limited simple of permission, and concerning the clean cache is not available for me now because it's only exist for full admin permission. so any help further ?

Manually delete the folders in /var/cache/

I checked the values in the root of the store in: htaccess & config.local.php.

now my htaccess file has 750 permission , and my config.local.php has 666 permission, so, if I change both of them to 755, it might be resolve the issue ?

It Looks like you deleted something wrong..... :shock: You must give access your store ftp access to any CS-Cart Professional here to check and help you on it.

Now, I know the point, the issue comes from the theme itself, as such like vivashop, any user might meet this issue, cscart support told me that this problem is well known one of the vivashop that sometimes index.tpl appears blank.

Dear sanayar2008,

Your issue has absolutely nothing to do with the VIVAshop theme. As we already told you and as CS-Cart support team already told you, your issue is caused by the leadhook add-on which is used in your VIVAShop theme only. This is a third party add-on which is in no way related to our VIVAshop theme, and therefore we recommend you to contact the add-on developer for support.

Therefore, we would very much appreciate if you stop misleading our forum community and hire some professionals to take care of your store as from the support tickets you opened with us we can tell that youâ€™re a beginner in using CS-Cart. Itâ€™s absolutely nothing wrong in being a newbie, it just becomes wrong when you start doing things that you most probably do not have any clue about.

We already know that you had server problems in the past due to bad CS-Cart configuration as well as installed third party add-ons that nobody knows where did you get them from since you said you could not contact the add-on developer for support (we wonder what serious add-on developer cannot be contacted for support).

When you raised the problem you are referring to now, we immediately told you that the issue had nothing to do with the theme. The error we were getting when we accessed your site was the following: "Server error 500â€. This happened on both your storefront as well as when we tried to access your store admin link. The same error was received "Server error 500â€. If it was a theme error, you would have definitely been able to at least access the admin part of your site, since the admin section is a CS-Cart core functionality, not a theme functionality.

Therefore, there is nothing related to the theme which â€œsometimes index.tpl appears blankâ€. The only time when VIVAshop goes blank is only when you deactivate the license addon which is supposed to always be active, as part of our licensing policy.

The so called "well known problem of VIVAshop" regarding the theme going blank, has only been related to users installing incompatible third party add-ons or made incompatible code changes. However, any theme may go blank if you install incompatible third party add-ons or make incompatible code changes, not just VIVAshop. The only confusion here is that our theme goes blank when you disable/uninstall the license add-on, and of course itâ€™s much easier to simply blame the theme for having an issue instead of investigating the real issue for the page going blank, like the third party incompatible code added or incompatible installed add-ons, or server issues, CS-Cart bad installations, or CS-Cart bad core files changes, etcâ€¦

Our VIVAshop is well known for the its top quality in the market, as well as for raising the themes standards on the CS-Cart Marketplace, and weâ€™ll not stop here. Something even bigger will come up soon. All of these being backed up by impeccable support services.

We do all of these because we care about our work (and no, this is not just a simple clichÃ©) so please bear in mind that our main interest is to help you as much as we can, and when we tell you that your problem is not related to VIVAshop, you should believe us, because we do not tell you that just to simply get rid of you, but to help you save your time in looking for the solution. Besides this, nobody knows VIVAshop better than us, the creators of this theme, so we are the most qualified developers to advise you with regards to our own product.

Moreover, everybody can confirm that whenever somebody found a problem/bug in VIVAshop we fixed that on the spot and immediately sent the fix to the user. So you do not have to wait for another theme release to get the fix, you get it immediately as soon as it is fixed. That is because quality is our most important aspect. So, if you find a bug in our theme, itâ€™s not you whoâ€™s interested first in getting the fix, it is us who are interested first in fixing the issue, as we care about the quality the most.

Coming back to the error, it can be clearly seen from the error log you posted, all the lines that contain VIVAshop related errors have the same message: "client denied by server configuration". So this was clearly a SERVER error and not a THEME error. All the other errors lines are related to CS-Cart core or third party files.

Our themes are designed to work correctly only with default CS-Cart installations so when you use any CS-Cart core file customizations and/or third party customizations/add-ons it is the job of the third party developer to provide a clean, correct code and also support for any issues related to them.

Finally, we strongly suggest you to hire a professional to correct your CS-Cart installation, fix your remaining errors (you still have some Javascript errors) as well as maintain your store.
