TEL # shown in customer's bank statement using credit card on Paypal Pro

Hi,



i am using cs-cart version: 2.1.4 with Paypal website payment pro



Yesterday I tested using my credit card to pay item in my cart using live mode.

It went thru succesfully, I check my bank statement and it shows like this:-



PENDING - abc +61 123456789 , 0517

LAST 4 CARD DIGITS 1234



I’ve removed my home phone number and tested again. Now it shows my mobile number???

Does anyone have their phone number appear in customer’s bank statement?





I’ve spoke to Paypal and here is their reply

“This appears to be an issue with the data cs-cart are pulling, can you please speak with them.

The setting on your account for your credit card processing name is “abc” and this is all that should show”

Hello Mr-Sticka,



If you do not have a mobile phone number specified in your profile in your CS-Cart store, it is impossible for CS-Cart to get this info from anywhere, so a mobile phone number cannot be sent to PayPal by CS-Cart. You should better contact PayPal support or your bank support and ask them regarding this matter.

I don’t have any contact number save in cs-cart.

Is it possible cs-cart pull/retrieve the phone number from my paypal account?



Which file is doing the job during the payment being processed? Was that paypal_pro.php in payments folder?

Hello Mr-Sticka,



CS-Cart cannot get any information from your PayPal account. If you use the “PayPal Pro” payment method, you should view the “paypal_pro.php” file located in the “payments” directory of your CS-Cart installation.
