Suddenly All Content Not Displaying!

Today our client called us up saying their website had stopped working properly.

When we looked at the website, the top menu wasn’t showing, content wasn’t showing, no products… it looked as if something terrible had gone wrong.

But then I opened the site in a different browser and it was all fine!?

After deleting my cookies the website started to display properly again.

So what is the issue here? And how can I prevent this from happening again?

BTW, we’re running localization.


Have you just recently done an upgrade? Generally the browser cache keeps up with any changes on your site other than when the site is upgraded. In this case, some of the modified times of the files have a timestamp of when the release was generated versus the last time that browser attempted to access the file (I.e. the old version was cached in the browser).
