Having upgraded on temp directory from 2.12 through to v 3.04 all seemed relatively ok, I am working on it and noticed none of my sub cats appear when I click on main cat heading .
you can try here, www.hivis.co.uk/v3 then choose hi visibility then choose hi vis vests. I would expect to see all sub sub cats under this such as kids vests, bulk vests etc etc. Have I missed something.

skins/basic/customer/addons/my_changes/hooks/categories/view.override.tpl needed tweaking from the V2.1.2 version I had in there.
