Stopping auto emails on order status change

When we change an order status (e.g. to cancelled), an automated email is still being sent to the customer although we have the “Notify Customer” box unchecked.



We want to stop this happening - we only want to send emails when updating from processing to complete.



Can anyone help?

Please uncheck this option “Notify customer” at the bottom of the popup menu.

The code is not 100% match, but it is similar.



I prefer to notify manually if I wanted to.

Thanks for your reply, but I have the Notify Customer box already unchecked on the order status edit.



Is there somewhere else I need to change?





Grabbags, thanks for the suggestion, but I’m not a techie and I dare not touch the code! If necessary I will go back to my developer…
