I’ve just loaded CS-Cart Professional onto my web server and am about to start altering the template system.
I’ve made a full HTML / CSS template of how I want the site to look, so I just wanted to see if anyone had any tips on how to go about this?
I’ve had a read of the CS-Cart documentation and a few posts on the forum. It sounds like I need to find the closest existing template layout to what my site is going to be and then basically figure it out as I go.
Any tips to ease the process or save me some time?

use find and replace to change similar colors 
its really difficult to find some things, so use a css tool in your browser to figure out whats what.
if you use a light template and give it a dark background, check all the font colors on every page, like checkout pages, etc.
I could go on, but I’ve been editing these templates since 5 years and still get confused. just take your time, its kind of logical.
