I read in plenty here that some folk say that having a lot of categories really affects the site speed.
So, we have on our site a category menu with all subcategories expanded all the time.
And I thought what if I will copy that generated HTML of the menu and drop it into another left box but as a simple HTML code, it should be the same thing visually (not dynamic anymore though).
Well, I did it and I think there is a really big boost by showing the category as HTML static code…
