Hi,
I am a 2.0.5 user. We offer a flat shipping rate (£6.00) per order for all products in our shop. We are introducing a new DVD and would like to offer it’s shipping for only £2.00. Even they buy 10 DVDs we charge only £2.00. When they buy 5 products plus 1 DVD the shipping charge should be £6.00. How can I do that?
Thanks.
Any one got a clue?
My experience so far is that shipping is pretty weak from a “real business” perspective. It works great if you only want address-based weights but there seems to be no mechanism for product specific exceptions. Definitions (though flexible) seem to apply (like many things) as an all or nothing type of confinfiguration.
So sorry, no clue! Was watching this thread to see if anyone came up with anything.
Of course you could always do your own semi-hardcoded solution by writing the code to apply your own rules.

The first part appears to be straight forward, the second part more difficult. Can you clarify that DVD in first part is DVD in second part?
