Personally I’ld ask WhyTF is smarty being non-parsed?

Ok, I should have read this was called in a javascript. Yes, I think it will work if you change it from smarty to an absolute path in that JS file.

I don’t think smarty can be called within a javascript code as the “{}” itself is part of javascript syntax. Funny, I just posted a thread about problems with “{}” and javascript today…

You’ll have to wrap that whole javascript into a {literal}{/literal} for it to work.

Yeah, the smarty wasn’t being processed because it’s in an external file (that never touches the server side)…You can place JS in your smarty code, but as mentioned above you need to include tags for it to know to ignore the {}.
