Sort By Product Code Is Missing In Product Admin Page

After i upgraded my website to v2.2.1, i found column “product code” is combined to column “product name”.

since my website has thousands of products, sorting by product code is 10 times more important than sorting by product name. Can you guys put it back in next release? Many thinks.

To my knowledge, product code has never been a sorting option in the standard cart.

Edit: Okay, must be talking about admin. I just had a look at the demo.

I have the same problem. We just need the product code to display in the product list with the link above to sort by it. A patch would be handy if the next official upgrade isn't going to come for a while.

Hi Lan,

Please use the following code to search by product code first before cs-cart team comes up with a new patch to allow to sort by it.

That helps a lot. It will be good to list by product code again though, it's easier to book stock quantities in after a delivery listed like that.

I am another that is missing the Product Code in its own column. For us the code stands for something and is as important as the product name. We need to be able to sort by it.

Just stumbled upon a temporary solution to the sort-by product code issue and best of all, you basically have to to nothing. When you have the standard product list on display in admin mode, click on the link above that says Product Subscriptions. Lo and behold, the original product listing from v2.1.4 is there and the product code is in its own column that allows you to sort by it.

Thanks for sharing that find with us all. It makes things so much easier to work with. I am a little surprised a rep didn't point that out earlier as it was that easy but hey, we all know now.

I would like the sort by Product Code back as an option.
