President Lech Kaczynski and scores of other senior Polish figures have been killed in a plane crash in Russia. Poland’s army chief, central bank governor, generals, MPs and leading historians were among more than 80 VIP passengers. The crash is a catastrophe for the Polish people and myself. My next door neighbour also lost his life. We did know each other for years. Great loss.

Sorry for your loss. Sudden loss is always a shock and never easy to get over. I lost a life long friend on flight 11 on 9/11. My heart goes out to you and your neighbor’s friend and family.
