I upgraded one site from 2.0.15 to 2.1.2 using a fresh install with no problems. The site is up and running just fine.
Probably going to upgrade my main site from 2.1.1 to 2.1.2 sometime this week.

I upgraded from 2.1.1 to 2.1.2 with no problems at all. Site is much faster now too.
Upgraded test store from 2.1.1 to 2.1.2. Broke very addon I’ve developed. In their infinite wisdom, they chose to change the parameters for fn_set_notification(). Having to re-release all my addons to account for the change so they remain compatible with old versions as well as newer versions. They could easily have done this when they made the change but they didn’t.
Have not done any other testing since. Have better use of my time.
I’m still staying with 2.0.15 until they put the mini-cart back into the checkout page. My customers won’t accept having to go all the way through the checkout process to change a quantity or options in the cart products and/or to add coupon codes or gift certificates.
To me, 2.1.x is not yet ready for production use.
I have a problem I get ‘A file permissions error has occurred. Please check the permissions on the script and the directory it is in and try again.’ come up. But no file is set to 777?!?
Help me anyone?
No worries. All sorted.
smooth transition
I Upgraded my cs-cart from 2.1.1 to 2.1.2
I got a blank page and I couldn’t sing in to the admin area or visiting front end, nothing is working
How can I fix this problem or restor ? any help please !!
Thank you
I just upgraded. I have the SEO addon activated on my system and notice the new “quick search” will display only non-seo results and no images on those links. I am impressed with the faster speed the website displays everything.
Upgraded to 2.1.2, no problems here and better speed.

Check the Bug list, it’s been fixed with a manual modification.
Upgraded to 2.12. Had some small problems but got them fixed on 1 day with help from the CS-cart team who have been great.
I was running a trial version of 2.1.1
Bought a licence and installed the key.
Then I ran the upgrade from within Admin. It gave me a long list of files which it claims had been modified, but I’ve done no modifications. Now I get:
Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@stevethompson.com.au and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
Any suggestions please?
Thanks, Steve.
I’ve just run the restore url that I was given during the upgrade and it also returns the server error mentioned above.
Steve.
Did the upgrade and also had server error.
Changed some of the permissions and admin side now works fine.
Just waiting on cs now to tell me how to open my store again as the link has vanished.
I’ve just completely deleted and reinstalled 2.1.2, including the database, and I’m still getting the server error. I can’t even run Admin.
STeve.
Got my site upgraded from 2.0.12 to 2.1.2 in one swoop. Took awhile but the site seems happy so far.
Anyone that gets the Server Error, that’s a permissions issue. Seems that the new files have improper permissions. Check your error logs, it should tell you which files as well…
If you have SSH or other shell access, run the following command to straighten things out.
$ cd ~
$ find . -type f -print | xargs chmod 644
$ find . -type d -print | xargs chmod 755
