SiteGround - Stay AWAY

Untill siteground missbehaves with me I have no complaints, but for all the things you say off course I’m always scared of that things happening to me, and that’s not good, but I believe that you should not move from one company to another just because someone complaints, you should move only if you have problems with them, this serves any kind of hosting company mecioned on this forum, at least that’s how I think.

I’m not pointing any fingers here neither saying that this or that are the cases, for real I’m not, but you must agree that many times people like to do some “sabotage” work on a certain hosting company in order to try to sell them their own hosting services, but, once again, just my humble opinion of course

We have just signed up with this useless company. Wish we hadn’t. Ok, its cheep, but we only did it because they advertise ecommerce web hosting using cscart. Rubbish… it DOES NOT WORK. I was importing my products, only 250 of them when i got a 503 error message. Aparently this is because i exceeded their cpu limit or something & after contacting their support was told in no uncertain terms that it was the scripting of cscart causing the problems not them & that they basically don’t give a dam that it doesn’t work and i should get in tough with cscart!

Now my site is not useable, i cant import any products & basically, well useless.

They suggested a way around it was NOT to use the import products section of the admin panel but to use mysql to do it! Yer right…

These are a bunch of crooks who even after 5 days won’t refund my money as they say its not their fault and in any case i knew what i was doing when i signed up because i read the 12343245678 pages of their ‘Terms & Con’s’…

Why does cscart recommend them?
Why does cscart recommend them?
Probably CS-Cart get a few bucks from them through affiliate and maybe for adversining on the CS-Cart site as well.

What do you think of Indy’s attack against CS-Cart in this post?

You have not responded publicly, perhaps because you did not read this post yet.

You are able to do it now.

Because, you will notice, Indy lives thanks to CS-Cart, as she is a CS-Cart retailer. It’s always nice to read negative reviews on his honesty, coming from one of our dealers, while this dealer uses the same means as ourself.

In fact, Jesse, Indy reproaches to CS-Cart to make some bucks through affiliates links and advertising for a host.

So what is doing Indy?

Here one of her affiliate links:

http://www.martfox.com/customer/link.php?id=1

The same as CS-Cart, isn’t it?

So, is it fair play?

Jesse, yourself you stopped to display your affiliate links some months ago, right?

More, Indy voted “Ban” to your poll: “Affiliate links - Available or Banned?”

http://forum.cs-cart.com/showthread.php?t=14195

I stopped my affiliate links. You stopped yours Jesse. Indy is still displaying her affiliate links:

All of this is no longer relevant to me as I am no longer an Administrator. I’ve got better thing to do these days than watch children bicker on who’s hosting package is bigger.

Just saying - Ain’t my problem

All that being said, I’m certain that the forum is aware of Indy’s practices (ethical or otherwise - I don’t care) - one of those people that you just ignore

Lee Li Pop
They aren’t affiliate links, they are ‘tracking links’ for statistic of the WHMCS software.

As they say in Hollywood, bad publicity is often just as good as good publicity. I think everyone that’s been here for a while knows how this story ends and how it starts again on another thread. It’s been going on for a while. I call it good old fashion marketing. Nicely done and it’s not hard to appreciate it. But, easy to avoid it. We just need to change the channel.

But you have to admit that the level of detail that Lee Li puts into the countless images she posts is nothing short of incredible, I mean she even found a lady with red hair for her image post, who does that!

Ladies…

I love you both for your fantastic help on the forum.

I for one couldn’t care less if links are affiliated or not… or if you’re here to get some business or not. I think it’s anybody’s good right as long as the posts are helpful, but that’s not my decision to make: it’s up to the moderators.

The posts on this thread are not helpful. They are annoying, unnecessary, and degrading (and make me laugh out loud, but I tend to have a pretty sick sense of humor).

So please, just leave each other alone and let the moderators decide about what is a bad post and what isn’t…

I approve this message :stuck_out_tongue:

Hi,

I’m the PR manager of Martfox Internet Services. Our company noticed some unacceptable behavior on this forum. ‘indy0077’ has been banned for ‘telling the truth’… Then CS-Cart team, where can we find your ‘CS-Cart Forum Rules’ (see the screenshot) or your link here CS-Cart Community Forums ? Can you provide us with a link to your forum TOS? What is allowed and what is forbidden at this forum? We know it’s a public forum and we are waiting for an answer which will solve some mistakes regarding ‘who’ should be banned and who not!

Thanks,

John Jordan

P.S. Anyway the question about her ‘Affiliate links’ has been answered in the previous post of ‘indy0077’.
