I haven’t used google chrome at all as the amount of users with it is small but suppose now that you mentioned it it will stick inside my head.
By the any cs cart owners / people on here you may want to check out this site if you haven’t all ready.
Using smarty templates all over the place is fine but you may want to check this out.
I use this on many of my wedding directory sites which have over a million pages.
Easy to design and work with and runs smooth. Pretty much same as what your doing just more organized.
